Man killed in North Philadelphia triple shooting

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a triple shooting that left a man dead in North Philadelphia.

It happened just around 8:45 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of North 9th Street near Somerset.

Police say a 64-year-old man was shot in the back.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 48-year-old woman was shot in the chest. She is in critical condition at Temple.

A 15-year-old girl was shot in the buttocks. She is listed in stable condition.

Police say eleven shots were fired with two guns.

No arrests have been made at this time.
