NJ vets come to Bruce Springsteen's rescue on Veterans Day

FREEHOLD, N.J. (WPVI) -- "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen had even more reason to thank a group of New Jersey veterans on Veterans Day.

That's because they helped him out when he was stranded on the side of the road.

His motorcycle broke down Friday near Freehold.

So the group of bikers gave him a ride to a restaurant.

Bruce took pictures with the guys, bought them a beer and left $100 on the table.
