PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Bank robbery, kidnapping, and now murder - all crimes, police say, were committed by one man - Dion Jordan.

Police say Jordan was arrested on robbery and kidnapping charges last week. They also say he donned a $1,500 mask and wig during several bank robberies in New Britain and Philadelphia over the past few months.

Jordan was captured after he allegedly kidnapped a man and held him for ransom.

Police say the victim met Jordan to possibly buy his Dodger Charger. When the two met up, Jordan allegedly robbed the victim and kidnapped him during a test drive.

Lt. John Stanford of the Philadelphia Police Department explains, "On the test drive they get a few blocks away from the original location, a second individual pops up out of the backseat pointing a gun to the victim's head, taking the victim's money. But then also forcing the victim to call a family member to meet him at another location with additional cash."

When Jordan tried to get the additional cash, police were waiting.

Lt. Stanford says, "They see an opportunity to converge on the vehicle. AT that point the vehicle takes off, ultimately leading officers into Upper Darby where other departments engaged. Finally, this all comes to an end in Lansdowne where this male is apprehended."

While in custody, police say Jordan confessed to killing Dallas Long and dumping his body at 82nd and Lyons streets.

The motive is still under investigation. A source says it may be connected to drugs.

"This young man, if convicted, is going to be going away for a very long time," Stanford said.

At this point Jordan is not charged with any of the bank robberies. The FBI is investigating.
