The fast-moving fire broke out at 1:00 a.m. Thursday on Pine Street near Poplar Street in Darby.

DARBY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Delaware County had to rescue a person from a burning home.

The fast-moving fire broke out at 1:00 a.m. Thursday on Pine Street near Poplar Street in Darby.

When firefighters arrived they were told one person was trapped inside the burning building.

They managed to reach and rescue that person.

The victim was treated at the hospital for burns and smoke inhalation.

There was no immediate word on that person's condition.

Another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
