Police officer hit by car at Philadelphia International Airport

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A police officer was hit by a car at the Philadelphia International Airport.

It happened Sunday evening along Arrivals Road near Terminal B.

Police say the officer was directing traffic when he was hit by a car.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and is expected to be treated and released.

The driver did stop at the scene, police say.

No other injuries were reported.

So far, no arrests have been made.
