Search for serial female bank robber in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- The FBI has joined the search for a female suspect wanted for several bank robberies in Northeast Philadelphia.

Authorities say the thief dresses in full Muslim garb and wears white latex gloves so she doesn't leave fingerprints.

Detectives say she's struck four times in a month.

The most recent case happened shortly before 1:00 Thursday afternoon at the Citizen's Bank branch on the 10000 block of Bustleton Avenue.

"There's been reports of her fleeing in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Nissan Rogue or a Nissan Murano," said John Sermons, FBI.
