Student found with gun at Pemberton High School

PEMBERTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Burlington County say a student brought a gun to Pemberton High School on Monday.

The weapon was discovered inside the student's backpack around 1:30 p.m.

The superintendent says no live ammunition was found, and there were no immediate threats to other students or staff.

Police have not yet said why the student had the weapon or if any charges have been filed.
