Suspect in custody after man shot in face in Oxford Circle

OXFORD CIRCLE (WPVI) -- A suspect is in custody after police say a man was shot in the face in the city's Oxford Circle section.

Police received reports of shots fired shortly after 3:30 p.m. Friday along the 1200 block of Gilham Street.

Police say a male was shot in the face.

He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.

The suspect was arrested on the 600 block of West Wyoming.

Police are investigating.
