Unattended suitcase arouses suspicion in Lawndale

LAWNDALE (WPVI) -- An unattended suitcase brought first responders to the Lawndale section of Philadelphia.

Police, firefighters and bomb disposal experts were called to Rising Sun Avenue near Magee Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Monday.

After they arrived, they determined the suitcase contained someone's belongings and nothing dangerous.

They sounded the all-clear a short time later.

No one was hurt.
