Woman, 73, crashes into building in Rhawnhurst

RHAWNHURST (WPVI) -- A 73-year-old woman crashed into a building in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 8300 block of Bustleton Avenue.

Police say the woman hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, slamming her car into a commercial building.

No one was inside the building at the time of the crash, police say.

The building suffered major damage, but no one was hurt.
