An Indiana woman says she noticed a lot of people in her town were having a hard time making ends meet. So, she decided to do something about it.

Jeannetta Presley calls her grassroots, homegrown effort the "Blessing Box."

Inside includes all kinds of essentials - from toiletries to canned and boxed food.

Presley is asking people to leave what they can and take what they need.

"They can't go stand in line at the food pantries because they're at work. So, they get home and find that there's just one thing in their refrigerator and they don't have anything to go with it," she said.

She says this is especially crucial for kids who often go hungry.

Her idea is going viral on Facebook, with people trying it where they live.
