HUNTING PARK -- Police say a handicapped woman was killed after her car burst into flames on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. near 5th Street near Luzerne.
According to police, the 30-year-old woman lost control of her car and smashed into a tree then burst into flames.
Several people stopped to try and help rescue the victim.
There is no word on what may have caused the woman to lose control.
Police have not released her name.
