Woman stabbed 5 times in neck, chest in N Phila.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a woman was stabbed five times in the neck and chest Tuesday morning in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 12:20 p.m. inside a rooming house on the 700 block of West Glenwood Avenue.

Police said that she was rushed to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is listed in critical condition.

Police arrested a male they believe is responsible for the stabbing.

The investigation is underway.
