Far too often, when a 14-year-old boy is in the news, it's for all the wrong reasons.
That's why we're happy to tell you about a teenager who is truly living up to his name.
Meet Noble Brigham.
On Monday, the Episcopal Academy student learned of an elderly woman who needed some help with her lawn.
This after a neighbor spotted her cutting her grass with a pair of scissors.
Without hesitation, Noble rushed over with a lawnmower.
When he finished, the grateful woman tried to reward him with $20.
"I said that I didn't want the money because I was just doing the neighborly thing, which I was," said Noble. "And she kept trying to push it into my hand and I said, 'No, I don't need it.' And I think she was very happy."
That simple gesture apparently left the woman in tears.
Noble's mom says though her son's good deed isn't surprising, she does hope it's inspiring, possibly leading other teens to create similar acts of kindness.
