Man critical after armed robbery attempt in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after an apparent armed robbery attempt in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Master Street.

Police said a 36-year-old man was shot once in the stomach.

The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition.

Police said they are looking for two men who fled the scene.
