Clayton snowman contest kicks off

CLAYTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- One Gloucester county community is getting ready for an invasion of snowmen.

The borough of Clayton is once again sponsoring a snowman contest.

Monday was the official kickoff, here on Delsea drive.

The mayor and other town officials were on hand, encouraging folks to register for the contest, which of course is contingent on a snow fall.

But between now and January 14th, participants can bring in a variety of creative, festive-looking snow-men, to be put on display and judged by the community.
