Parents arrested for failing to pay child support

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Parents accused of failing to make child support payments were taken into custody in an overnight unannounced raid.

The Action Cam was there as alleged delinquent child support payers were taken into court in Norristown Wednesday morning.

15 sheriff's deputies fanned out to Norristown, Pottstown and Abington with a list of 67 parents who owed $142,365 for 20 kids, and had either avoided child support payments or court appearances.

9 dads were arrested between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., and three more turned themselves in after learning that they were being pursued.
