Driver hits, kills pedestrian in Philadelphia's Ogontz section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A driver struck and killed a pedestrian late Wednesday night in the Ogontz neighborhood of Philadelphia.

The crash happened at about 11 p.m. along Ogontz Avenue near West Olney Avenue.

The vehicle involved in the crash had its entire front windshield smashed.

The driver remained at the scene, police said.

Police have not identified the victim.
