1 dead after crash on I-476 SB in Delaware County

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man is dead after a crash on I-476 southbound in Delaware County.

The victim is a 41-year-old man from Havertown, Pa. His name has not been released.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. Monday near Cardinal O'Hara Drive in Springfield.

One vehicle was involved.

The view from Chopper 6 showed a number of firefighters surrounding a dark-colored vehicle shortly after the crash.
