Multi-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Royersford

ROYERSFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash is slowing traffic on Route 422 in Royersford, Montgomery County.

It happened before 6 a.m. Thursday in the eastbound lanes near Township Line Road.

Action News is told the chain-reaction crash involved five vehicles and that two people have been taken to area hospitals.

Multiple police and rescue units were on the scene.

Eastbound traffic was down to one lane. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.
