Father-son fight ends with death of son in Berks Co.

OLEY, Pa. -- State police say a fight between a father and son at their Oley, Berks County home has ended with the younger man dead and his father in the hospital.

However, investigators are still trying to sort out what happened inside a home along the 1600 block of Limekiln Road at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police tell Action News that 60-year-old Robert Hirschorn lived there.

His son, 37-year-old Jason Hirschorn, allegedly showed up and the pair got into a physical altercation.

The younger Hirschorn was dead when police got there.

His father was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment.

Investigators are waiting for him to recover so they can interview him.
