1 person injured in East Norriton Twp. fire

EAST NORRITON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A man was injured in a fire on Saturday afternoon in East Norriton Township, Montgomery County.

The fire was reported around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Sycamore and Norwood lanes.

Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from the house.

A man had to be rescued from the home. He suffered with burns and was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center for treatment.

His condition is not immediately known.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials say it may have started as a result of a motorcycle in the garage.
