Police: Boy, 15, dead after accidental shooting in Norristown

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 15-year-old boy is dead after what investigators say was an accidental shooting in Norristown, Pa.

It happened Sunday in the 600 block of George Street.

According to police, several other juvenile males on the scene said the boy was waving a gun around when it went off.

The bullet hit him in the head. He was pronounced dead at Jefferson University Hospital.

The name of the teen killed has not been released.
