All lanes reopened after crash on westbound Pa. Turnpike at Route 1 in Bensalem

At least one person was seriously injured in a crash on the westbound Pa. Turnpike Friday afternoon.

BENSALEM, Pa. -- All lanes have reopened to traffic following an earlier accident involving a tractor trailer on the westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County.



The crash was reported just after 1:30 p.m. on the turnpike at Route 1 in Bensalem.



The crash, involving the tractor trailer and at least one other vehicle, caused the truck to turnover onto its side.

Chopper 6 was over the scene where two other tractor trailers were stopped ahead of the overturned truck. It is not yet clear if they were involved in the incident.



At least one person was seriously injured, and transported to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
