NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some cats and kittens are ready for adoption now at the SPCA in North Philadelphia.
122 felines were rescued from a filthy and flea-infested home in Henryville, Pennsylvania this week.
Authorities say their owners had planned to open a shelter but were unable to keep up with their rapid reproduction.
Most of the rescued cats are under 4-months-old.
Some of them have already recovered enough to be adopted.
