American Airlines flight forced to return to Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An American Airlines flight heading to Orlando, Florida was forced to return to Philadelphia after some type of problem was detected.

The pilot turned around when an indicator light came on.

Flight 1748 landed successfully before 3 p.m. Wednesday at Philadelphia International Airport.

The plane is being checked by mechanics to determine the problem.

The 150 passengers and five crew members were put on another flight.

There were no reports of any injuries.
