Construction worker injured after being trapped under debris in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters were on the scene of a construction accident in Center City Saturday afternoon.

It happened before 3 p.m. near 18th and Arch streets.

Authorities say a construction worker became trapped under debris.

He was rescued and taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment.

He is listed in stable condition.
