Police: Man's body found in Southwest Philadelphia field

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of a man's body in a Southwest Philadelphia field.

Police say the victim was shot in the face.

A passerby discovered the 25-year-old man Tuesday afternoon along the 7400 block of Redwing Place.

Police have not identified the victim.
