Man shot and wounded in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting in South Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. at 5th and McKean streets.

Police say a 52-year-old man was shot once in the right hip.

He was taken by police to Jefferson University hospital in stable condition.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
