Truck overturns on EB Schuylkill Expy. near Girard

PHILADELPHIA -- A tractor trailer crash blocked some of the eastbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway Tuesday.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. on the highway near Girard Avenue.

An Action News traffic cam showed the truck on its side, with its load of boxes spilled on the road.

The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
