Philadelphia police arrest man allegedly sneaking onto rooftops
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have arrested a man who has been allegedly sneaking onto city rooftops.
Friday night, police identified that person as 39-year-old Michael Zallie.
He was sought for three incidents since last month.
On both September 25 and September 27, police say the man forcibly gained entry to the rooftop door of the Sonesta Hotel at 1800 Market Street.
In the September 25 incident, police noted the long, tan skateboard he is seen carrying.
On October 16, police say he entered the Dorchester condominiums at 226 West Rittenhouse Square.
Police say he cut the wire to a door leading to the roof, and once on the roof, he began taking pictures.
He then went onto another roof, entered that building, then fled in an unknown direction.
Zallie is charged with burglary, trespass and criminal mischief.
