Man, 21, dead in Nicetown-Tioga shooting

NICETOWN-TIOGA (WPVI) -- A shooting has the claimed the life of a man in the Nicetown-Tioga section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday on the 1600 block of Rowan Street.

Arriving officers discovered a 21-year-old man down on the street.

Police say he'd been shot at least twice in the face and multiple times in the body.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word on a suspect.
