PHOTOS: Return of Flyers Ice Girls
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It is a big about face for the Philadelphia Flyers.
In their first preseason game at the Wells Fargo Center on September 22nd, the team debuted their Ice Boys.
A group of guys skating with shovels, wearing full warm-up suits.
The men replaced the Ice Girls who were a little more scantily clad. Well, a lot more.
The crowd booed the boys and so, the Flyers are bringing the girls back!
So why did they get rid of the girls in the first place?
Well, some of the girls publicly complained in an expose calling the job "torture," saying they couldn't eat in public.
The Flyers are now starting fresh with a new ice team.

There are tryouts this Sunday at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees at noon.
Both men and women are welcome.
