Pickup truck falls from parking garage in Louisiana

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WPVI) -- Cell phone video shows the moments after a pickup truck fell six stories onto a busy New Orleans street.

It nearly missed pedestrians below.

Police say the vehicle plummeted from a parking garage Wednesday morning, but it's still unclear why.

People nearby tried frantically to get to the 49-year-old driver, but he died at the scene.

Police are investigating.
