Woman robs PNC Bank in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a woman dressed in Muslim clothing robbed a PNC bank in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday morning.

The hold up happened at 10:00 a.m. at the branch at 12300 Academy Road.

Police say the woman passed a note to the teller and demanded money.

Authorities have not said if she got away with any cash.

Canine units searched for the woman who fled the scene in a gold minivan.
