VIDEO: Pokemon Go causes stampede in Taiwan

If you didn't know what was going on in the video above, you might think something terrible was happening on the streets of Taipei, Taiwan.

But this stampede was not related to panic, it was related to Pokemon Go.

Hundreds of players pushed through an intersection this weekend, desperate to catch a rare Snorlax that spawned near a popular park.

Police actually had to bring in backup to keep Pokémon trainers out of the road.
