Police: Thief threatened to stab guard at Center City store

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police need your help finding a man who threatened violence as he took clothing from a Center City store.

Police say the suspect was stopped by security when he tried to steal clothes from the Uniqlo store on the 1600 block of West Chestnut Street.

The two got into an altercation.

The suspect threatened to stab the security officer, and then ran off with the clothing in hand.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
