2 arrested for armed e-bike theft that left officer injured in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people are in custody in connection with an armed theft of an e-bike that ended with an officer being injured.

Detectives responded to the theft in the 3200 block of Kipp Street in North Philadelphia around noon on Wednesday.

Authorities say one of the responding officers sustained minor injuries while trying to arrest the suspects but is expected to be ok.
