I-76 westbound ramp to City Avenue to close for repairs

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A traffic alert for commuters who use the Schuylkill Expressway.

PennDOT is temporarily closing the ramp from westbound I-76 to City Avenue.

The closure begins Monday at 7 p.m. and is expected to last until Friday at 5 p.m., October 31.

The closure was originally slated to begin at 7 a.m., but PennDOT has since updated its timeline.

It's part of a $41M road repaving and repair project.

PennDOT says drivers should allow for extra time, or consider a different route.
