Son charged after father's decomposed body found inside home in Vineland, NJ

VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after his father's decomposing body was found inside a home in Vineland, New Jersey.

The discovery was made Sunday after officials responded to reports of an odor coming from the home on Fayette Street.

Authorities say Anthony Williams' body was found in a state of decomposition.

Investigators believe Antoine Williams allegedly stabbed his father on or around July 15 and later tampered with evidence.

The case remains under investigation.
