Construction project impacting Schuylkill Expressway set to begin

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A big construction project impacting the westbound Schuylkill Expressway begins Sunday night.

It will last until June.

Westbound I-76 will be shutdown between 30th Street and the Vine Street Expressway.

The work is part of the Market Street Bridge Construction - it will be done between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Drivers will be directed to exit at 30th Street and travel west on Schuylkill Avenue to access the ramps to I-76 West and I-676 East.
