Deadly pedestrian crash under investigation in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash in North Philadelphia.

Officials say the driver of a Mustang struck two people crossing mid-block along the 1600 block of West Girard Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

A 27-year-old man was killed and a 27-year-old woman is in stable condition.

Their identities have not been released.

The driver of the Mustang called 911 after the crash.

There's no word if charges will be filed.
