Police say Prince drove a Jeep Compass onto the sidewalk and slammed into the back of 24-year-old Colin Cassidy.

Investigators say Prince had confronted Cassidy before the crash and accused him of stealing the bicycle.

Cassidy was thrown about 90 feet and suffered "significant head trauma," the district attorney's office said.

He is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
