PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Flowers now sit on the front porch of a Chew Avenue home that has drawn intense scrutiny after police said they recovered video that appeared to show two missing women dead inside the residence.
The women were identified as 27-year-old Maribel Fresses, who disappeared in 2018, and Gabrielle Amarando, who disappeared in 2012 at age 22.

Amarando's mother said a cousin placed the flowers on the porch. She also said she is hoping to receive more answers from police about her daughter.
Meanwhile, investigators continue to review extensive evidence collected from the home. Philadelphia Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore said police are working through hundreds of thousands of digital files as well as physical evidence.

"We have a lot to unpack on that job still. I mean it sounds like a lot, but there is a ton of forensics. A lot of video evidence and digital evidence still be reviewed," said Vanore on Monday.
According to police, investigators are examining approximately 600,000 images and 70,000 videos recovered from the property. Physical evidence also is being tested at laboratories.

Authorities additionally confirmed that police had been at the home before the current investigation and that it had previously been searched.
Police did not provide a specific timeline for those prior incidents. However, Vanore said narcotics investigators had executed a search warrant at the residence before.
"Narcotics had served a warrant inside that house previous to this incident. That wasn't the first time we were there. It didn't look like it looked when we went in. It looked different," Vanore said.

According to court documents, Eugene Horsch was charged with drug-related offenses in July of last year and later accepted a plea deal. He was on probation.
Police said Horsch was arrested on June 19 after a park ranger on Market Street near Sixth Street heard a woman in his vehicle say, "You're going to hurt me."
Authorities said the woman was in possession of an ID belonging to a woman who had been reported missing.
The investigation remains ongoing as police continue reviewing digital and forensic evidence from the Chew Avenue home.
