NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- The Coast Guard says a fire on a barge carrying scrap metal in the Delaware Bay is now out.
They used thermal imaging to confirm that on Wednesday.
The fire was first reported around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday.

It sent massive plumes of black smoke into the air as crews from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the Coast Guard battled the flames.
A salvage plan is being finalized as the barge transits to port in Camden.
No one was hurt in the fire.
