Food Bank of Delaware receives $50k donation from Acme

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- The Food Bank of Delaware received a big donation on Thursday.

Acme presented a $50,000 check at the nonprofit's headquarters in New Castle.

The money will be used to to support hunger-relief programming for veterans, active military members, and their families.

The check presentation coincided with a community-based mobile pantry, at the Route 9 Library and Innovation Center.
