Former PTO treasurer pleads guilty to theft, sentenced to probation

DEPTFORD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The treasurer of a parent-teacher organization in Deptford Township, Gloucester County, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to stealing thousands of dollars.

Tara Webb will have to spend five years on probation.

According to court documents while Webb was the treasurer of Pine Acres and Shady Lane Schools PTO, she took nearly $100,000 in a year.
