Historic Memorial Day ceremony begins at Laurel Hill East Cemetery

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Laurel Hill East Cemetery will be holding its historic Memorial Day ceremony and parade on Ridge Avenue in East Falls, Philadelphia.

The parade will begin Sunday morning at 11:30.

There will be a wreath-laying and music by the Philadelphia Brigade Band.

Laurel Hill East is the site of the first Memorial Day in Philadelphia in 1868.
