John 'Gig' Gigliotti, Wildwood boardwalk icon, dies at age 97

WILDWOOD, NJ (WPVI) -- An icon of the famous Wildwood boardwalk has died.

John "Gig" Gigliotti worked on the iconic Sightseer Tram Cars for the last 30 years.

He's one of the most recognizable faces on the boardwalk, known by residents, visitors and fellow employees and business owners.

The boardwalk SID management released a statement saying whenever they hear "watch the tram car, please" they'll be thinking of Gig.
