LANSDOWNE, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The Lansdowne community is proud to welcome the return of a beloved center for the arts.
The "Lansdowne Theater" is reopening after originally closing in the 1980s.
Years of motivation and development will all lead up to this Friday night, welcoming Chazz Palminteri to a performance of "A Bronx Tale."
"So many people would say, 'if I win the lottery, I'm going to restore the Lansdowne Theater.' Well, I didn't win the lottery, but I got to lead the team that got the job done. So in a way, I did win the lottery," said Executive Director of Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation, Matt Schultz.
